They’re fabulous with a hop-infused microbrew IPA like Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Lagunitas Maximus, or Bear Republic Racer 5. Wine lovers could pair them with any medium to full-bodied red. Ingredients:
1 1/4 pound ground turkey
1 Tbsp ginger root, fresh, finely chopped
1 Tbsp fresh minced garlic
1/4 cup Soy Vay teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1 cup grated carrot
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 large egg white
Instructions:
Preheat frying pan to medium-high, coat with pan spray and/or olive oil. In a large bowl, combine turkey, teriyaki sauce, ginger, garlic, green onions, carrot, cilantro and egg white. Mix until combined. Grill burgers─carefully searing a dark golden brown without burning─5 to 7 minutes per side. Remove burgers and serve with grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, or other sides that appeal. Condiments might include hot Chinese mustard, Asian hot sauce, wasabi mayo, etc. Enjoy!
